The village of Wilmette touches Lake Michigan with many houses overlooking sparkling waters. Sailing, swimming and boating are a few favorite activities of Wilmette’s inhabitants. Although housing is expensive, the price is worth it because of the beautiful properties and amazing school district. Also, the village center has many delicious restaurants.

When one decides to move to Wilmette, one must think about a number of factors: Do you like living in a suburban neighborhood filled with libraries but not a lot of so called “night-life”? Do you want to interact with your neighbors. If you are moving to Wilmette, you may have to interact with the community, and if you are not comfortable with that, you should not move here.

Before somebody moves to Wilmette, they should know several things. Wilmette is a suburb of Chicago, and it is not especially big, but its proximity to the major city is appealing. The town has exceptional schools, beachfront access to Lake Michigan, and interesting architecture. It is an excellent place to raise a family.
