Raleigh is one of the fastest growing cities. There’s lots to do and see. The weather is nice. Trees need to be protected because deforestation is making it ugly and sad.

If you’re used to snowy winters, they might be disappointed to learn that Raleigh rarely experiences snow and even more rarely does it stick to the ground. Blue skies are often overhead, which I find very comforting. And if a storm is brewing, one shouldn’t worry about it lasting longer than a few hours at the most. Sunshine and friendliness characteristically define our city.

Before moving to Raleigh, know the weather can change rapidly from one day to the next. The city has expanded rapidly in the last few years, making it a more desirable city for young adults. There are many kinds of restaurants in Raleigh. You will be able to find many options.
