If you are moving to Cape Coral, FL know that is very expensive and overcrowded. Hurricane Ian was terrifying and destroyed many lives.

A wonderful city sitting on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. One of the nicest and cheapest places to live in Florida. Over 400 miles of man made navigatable canals flow thru the city boundaries. thousands of snow birds actually own their second home here and thousands of others rent winter residence. People are very cordial and crime is on the low side of cities in Florida. 40 minutes away from RSW airport. a very large international facility.

Cape Coral is a very quiet city, though it is not small. The roads are very easy to memorize because everything is in one, big square. It is a great place to start and raise a family. The schools are great, and the weather is even better. It never gets below 50 degrees the whole year.

When you plan to move to Cape Coral, make sure you buy a house that already has city water installed. This is a crucial thing to watch out for when purchasing a house as there will be a fee of $20,000 in the near future as the city is currently renovating through a big change. I would not recommend any house older than 20 years, in case of a hurricane, since the old roofs would not be able to survive.
