Boise; the City of Trees. Of the many reasons to live in Boise, the call of the outdoors to be the strongest! Whether you like to kayak through winding, crashing waters, hike to the top of Table Rock to see the sprawling City of Trees, or shred winter mountains on skis or a snowboard; Boise is for you. Enjoy our expansive multicultural cuisine in towering downtown or maybe some good, down-home cooking from the local mom and pop shops tucked away on the rolling hillside. Boise also has one of the friendliest places to live! Expect the neighbors to come introduce themselves when you move in to your new home and for passerby’s to be helpful in times you would expect to be overlooked. Boise is a beautiful community that accepts and celebrates differences together.

Boise is a great city to raise your children. It is big enough to have multiple activities for everyone to do. has a small town feel, more of a community feel then big city. You also get four seasons, so whether or not you are a snow bird or summer fun person, you will find plenty of outdoor activities.

Boise, Idaho, is a wonderful place to retire. The weather is almost perfect; winters are very mild and summer temperatures allow you to spend a lot of time outside. Boise is known for the Greenbelt Path along the Boise River which is enjoyed by all citizens whether they are walking dogs, riding bikes or casually walking along enjoying the scenery and wildlife. There are excellent medical facilities, cultural events and entertainment venues that retirees will enjoy.
