If you’re moving to Venice, you’ll need to keep an eye out for the seagulls. They’re ferocious little beasts that scheme to steal the delicious Venetian pizza right out of your hands, and they have the talent to do just that. Keep an eye out for them, and don’t forget your rain boots for high tides!

They must know that they’ll have to walk a lot! So they will have to be prepared for that. Moreover, no bikes are allowed in the city. They have to be aware of the high tide (acqua alta) which happens during October and November in the island. Having said that, finding accommodation in safe locations is very much advised.
