Pretty standard “red county” (ie Republican, conservative) Florida. Until about 25 years ago a lot of it was mostly just ranchland but its grown up into a nice Tampa/St Pete suburb with easy access to both and lower taxes. Schools are good relatively speaking, and there are strip malls with standard dining options etc although not much of a local restaurant scene at this point.
