If a person were moving to my hometown of Windsor, I would encourage them to research the many bike trails in the area. The city has a sprawling array of trails, ranging from beginner to expert skill levels. A good place would be the trail that wraps through Malden Park.

Windsor is a border city, in Southern Ontario. The city has a fascinating history, spanning the War of 1812 and the Underground Railroad. Known as the “Automotive Capital of Canada”, Windsor has built an industry of vehicle manufacturing and distribution. However, in recent years, factory production has slowed and many manufacturing jobs have been lost to plants opened in their cities and countries.

Windsor is a relatively quiet and safe place. The Ambassador Bridge present here leads directly to Detroit, which lies at the very border of US. It is well connected to the international airport in Toronto. Most of Windsor is populated by students from University of Windsor and a local college.
