Preston, situated in central Lancashire, has excellent transport links. The train station has direct connections to London, in the South, and further North to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Preston’s bus station is the largest in Europe, despite being one of the least attractive buildings on the continent. Perfect for travelling for leisure or commuting to work.

Preston is a lively yet homely city, in the North-West of England. Northerners are friendly and are keen to introduce their famous cuisine with newcomers, such as the local butter pie. Traffic is often light, and lots of necessities are within walking distance. That being said, the public transport offered is also wonderful.

Preston has the largest bus station in Europe, however it is a fair distance from the train station. This means although the transport links are great, the commuting distance between the two are inconvenient at best. The restaurants and bars are focused mainly around students, due to the University of Lancashire daring based in the city centre.
