Dehradun is a small city, 250 KM from Delhi, with an airport and railway station. Rains are heavy which starts in July till September. Being a small city, it’s less crowded. There are many old age homes, schools and colleges due to which it comes across as as retirement destination where majority of crowd is either young adult or senior citizens.

Dehradun is a beautiful city. The weather and land is remarkable. However, traffic and noise are really bad as it is the capital of the state of Uttarakhand.

It’s a beautiful and peaceful city with many fun elements. It has a shortest route to go to Mussoorie. The people of my city are very kind hearted and welcoming. As everybody says Dehradun is the city of fun and love. One can easily find a place to stay in this city and would not regret his/her decision.

They must know the local language, which is Hindi, but also the city has good literacy; they can do with English speaking as well. The city’s only airport is 17 km away. At night, the only possible means of transportation are cabs or taxis. If someone is travelling during the day they can use bus services.
