I have been living in Baguio for more than 10 years, and I must say there are a lot more positive aspects than negative ones. The people are among the nicest you’ll ever meet, and the city is rich in culture. There are many historical places to visit, and the chilly air, especially during the night, is a plus. The only drawback of living here is the traffic, and the city is quite overpopulated.

Baguio is often called the “Summer Capital of the Philippines”. Due to this, tourism is the primary lifeblood of the city. Anyone looking to live here should take into consideration the fact that roads are uphill and often narrow. Good residential houses are far removed from the city center. Commuting and knowing where the stops and stations are going to be your first priority.
