Things To Do in Sorsogon City, Sorsogon

Sorsogon City as one of the most primitive provinces in the Bicol Region is a home for everyone who wants to experience the feeling of being at home. We have a lot of agricultural products, tourist attractions and preserved culture. One should not miss the famous historical locations and good foods that Sorsogon has to offer.

This area is best known to tourists for the chance to snorkel with whale sharks off the coast near Donsol, but it’s also an excellent area for activities such as hiking and caving. My most favorite place would be Subic and Tikling Beach in Matnog, a one hour drive from Sorsogon City, where I live. What I liked the most about Matnog this place was not only that it has a majestic view, but people were also charming and welcoming. We initially planned to stay and watch the beach under the trees, but they let us stay in one of the cottages for free. I’d love to recommend the place to someone looking for a relaxing vacation far from the metropolis.

Sorsogon City has several tourist spots you can visit. One of my favorite place would be the island of Paguriran which is in a small town called Bacon. The beach has a fine white sand, crystal clear water and majestic view. We usually go there during summer and cook barbecue with the gang.

In Sorsogon we have many tourist spots where you can visit for relaxation, and have fun. The people are very amiable you will not be treated as an outcast. There are different stores where you can choose from depending on your budget. Most importantly, the Gov’t leaders are competitive they treat residents with great value and attends to their needs.
