Anyone moving here should know it is not an urban area, and hence, should not expect any malls, posh restaurants or tourist spots here. The city is filled with greenery though, so nature lovers would absolutely love and enjoy living here. The residents here are also very well-mannered.

When moving to Pathanamthitta, one should obviously know the local language Malayalam for seamless communication, though I should mention that you can get by with English as well.
