Louisville is a foodie destination! Louisville is a fantastic place to live if you love coffee; there is a ton of third wave coffee shops (Quills and Sunergos are my faves). World-renowned bourbon, amazing local restaurants, beautiful hiking and parks make Louisville a great place to live. Unfortunately, the public transportation here sucks, so be warned.

Anyone moving to Louisville, Kentucky can learn much about the city based upon its food scene alone. Restaurants here boast a broad range of cuisine that varies in cost and experience such that anyone can easily find a dining experience that matches both their palette and budget. Louisville is a really wonderful city for young families. The public school district is very strong and there are a variety of beautiful parks to enjoy and cultural attractions like museums and sports events. For the most part, people are really friendly and it is really easy to get to know your neighbors and community.

Louisville is a wonderful city to raise a family. It is big enough to include wonderful events, shopping, and restaurants but small enough to make it feel like you have a community within your neighborhood. One of my favorite things about my city are the amazing public parks with walking tracks, sports fields, and trails for hiking. One negative thing about moving to Louisville is that it can be tricky to get your kids into a good public school depending on where you live.

Louisville has a vibrant waterfront, where many activities and held, and are open to the public. Louisville is a large city, covering many square miles, but theN it also has a small town feel to it. The exceptional city of Louisville offers true Kentuckian roots. Church Hill Downs for their legendary horse races and then the bourbon filled streets that make you say, “Now this is Kentucky! “. The city is filled with a bursting artistic community which you can see in the Speed Art Museum. beautiful parks that will make anybody fall in love!
