We have fascinating beaches around here if you’re a beach-person. The most famous of them all is Boracay Island. Aside from that, Ati-Atihan Festival which is celebrated on January is one of the festivities here that tourists would love and enjoy. Additionally, the cost of living here is not that expensive.

Kalibo is in the Visayas region of my country, Philippines. Among the 7,107 islands, my city is in Panay. Kalibo prides itself for pineapple fiber weaving, which is one of the most elegant and sought out fibers all over the world. My city also holds the Mother of All Philippine Festivals, Ati-atihan Festival.

Kalibo has a festival called “Ati-atihan”, which is considered the mother of all festivals in the Philippines. Many tourists arrive here during the third week of January annually to attend this one-week celebration in honor of the patron saint Senior Sto. Niño. It is very enjoyable to celebrate this religious festival in our city.

Know Aklan Province should not just be well-known on its white sand beach of Boracay. But it is a gate of paradise to other wonders such as Nabas Cold Spring, Maria Cristina White Rocks, Tigayon Hills, Mangrove Garden, and a lot more. Our culture is one of a kind, as our race originated from Aetas who we considered our early people in our country.
