Idaho Falls is a great place, and the downtown is especially appealing because of the Greenbelt. The Snake River runs through this area of the city, creating lovely waterfalls. Families can picnic along the Greenbelt, and many people also like to run, skateboard, roller skate, and walk along its miles of paved trails.

If you don’t like winter sports, you probably shouldn’t move here. Winter is about nine months long so it’s usually cold and snowy. Be prepared to stock up on coats, jackets, gloves, beanies, and log sleeve shirts. The temperature can drop to about -20*F. The usual high in summer time is about 95*F.
