There are several important things to be considered when planning a move to Flagstaff. be aware that you will be living at 7,000 feet above sea level in this beautiful mountain town. For many, this is a big change and can affect their adjustment. Another thing to consider about Flagstaff, or anywhere really, is cost of living; it can be expensive to live here. Finally, take into consideration that the beautiful scenery, snowy peaks in winter, and temperate weather in summer make this a very tourist-friendly location. This can make traffic a challenge year-round and our lovely downtown pretty crowded. All in all, though, Flag is a great place, full of amazing people, and it comes highly recommended.

If you’re moving to Flagstaff, know it is a more expensive city than the national average. Flagstaff has plenty of beautiful scenery and is close to several tourist attractions. There is also a large university located inside the city, and the large student population has led to the opening of many new bars and restaurants. Flagstaff is a great place!

If you plan on moving to Flagstaff, there are three things you must know. winter is comprised of heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures. This can leave citizens unable to leave their residence for days at a time. The town has a rich history and influences of the lumber industry and arts and crafts style are apparent in the architecture. Finally, Flagstaff is a college town; downtown is comprised of bars and other small coffee shops geared toward this demographic. If you do not like a town with an active nightlife, I suggest moving to Sedona instead.
