Things To Do in Centurion, Gauteng

We have the most spectacular weather. Summers are hot, with occasional thunder showers and winters are extremely mild, with daytime averages of about 17 degrees. Mountain biking, running and hiking are popular at the many nature sites around the area. Schools and private hospitals are excellent.

In my city so much can be done, firstly we have an animal zoo where anyone can go and also do a picnic not to mention that the most famous building that was built during the apartheid era still exists known as the Union building, tourists from all over the world come to the province to see the building and take pictures.

Centurion is based in Pretoria, near the Union buildings which is the house the presidential offices of the president as well as the South African government. Centurion, as a city, as various tourist attractions; for both local and international tourists, such as lion and safari park, Voortrekker Monument and Hennops Hiking trails inter alia.

Centurion is a nice suburban town which is in one our capital cities Tshwane as it is known now, very quiet and mostly liked by the working class. There’s not a lot of activities around however is buzzing with young driven individuals in the working sector. As with the rest of South Africa it would always be wise to take precautions when you visit here.

Someone moving to Centurion should know it is a good distance between Pretoria and Johannesburg and so offers a more laid back atmosphere while being close enough to work in either place. It is also good to note that we have major train routes running through Centurion. We also have a strong sense of community and so they should be prepared to be an active member of the community.
