Bridgetown is in Barbados which is a Caribbean country, known for its crystal beaches, food and, festival activities such as Crop over and Oistins Fish Festival which occur yearly. Most citizens of Barbados are very helpful towards each other and tourists. There are various tourist attractions for example Harrison’s Cave, Animal Flower Cave, Saint Lawrence Gap, and more.

Bridgetown is at the heart of the island. It is a small but quaint town that shows a mixture of tradition and modern development. Local vendors sell produce to tourists and locals as they commute. It is the hub of the island as it is home to most of our financial sector and shops and restaurants. Close to the sea, driving through the city offers picturesque views of the water.

Anyone moving to Bridgetown should be prepared to engage with its loving locals and our many hard-to-resist “Bajan” dishes. In addition to this, it’s with great pride that I also mention our awe- inspiring beaches with their picturesque scenery; close your eyes for a moment and picture white, glistening sands lined with beautiful palm and coconut trees, turquoise water so clear you can see the fish, shells and stones without diving and inspirational sunsets of many purples, pinks and oranges. Ahh The beautiful city of Bridgetown, capital of the exquisite little island called Barbados.

The city is the capital of Barbados. It is a town area where visitors can enjoy shopping although locals may view the prices as expensive. Foreign exchange rates are typically two United States dollars to one local dollar. Our cuisine is one of a kind! Full of flavor with seasonings and herbs.

You can find a white-sand beach, a sprawling golf course or a duty-free shopping plaza just about anywhere in the Caribbean, but in Barbados, visitors can taste the bittersweet Mount Gay Rum, dance to the thrum of a calypso song or take in a polo or cricket match. And though you could spend all your time on the beaches, you’ll find plenty more to do when exploring this Caribbean paradise. This luxurious island is brimming with breathtaking architecture, a passionate sports culture and a party-loving attitude.
