The Woodlands is a wonderful community that includes walkways, parks, and pools in every village. The Woodlands is a fantastic place because all hospitals, restaurants, and entertainment venues are within a 20-minute drive, and driving to Houston in not necessary. Finally, The Woodlands is very family friendly and there are many free activities available for children of all ages.

Before coming to my city it’s important to keep in mind the busy streets. Traffic is very sporadic and unpredictable at times. It’s also important to remember that it is very easy to get lost in Houston. Take one wrong turn and you may end up in an area that you did not want.

Although the houses can be expensive, The Woodlands overall is a very suburban city with various subdivisions that accomodate uniquely to your needs if you take the time to pick out the right residential area for you.

It’s a largely suburban neighborhood, with lots of pedestrian areas and family-friendly means of entertainment. It has its own mall, multiple movie theaters, and a park all within walking distance of each other. It is a quiet neighborhood, unless there is some kind of concert or event taking place in the local park; but these events are few and far between.
