Temple is a boring place. There is very little to do for teenagers and young adults. The city values doctors and medical professionals. There are many medical centers and two hospitals. Additionally, there is major construction happening all over the city. The main freeway is I-35 and we are situated close to Fort Hood Army base.

Because of Temple’s location, the cities of Austin, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, and San Antonio are all reachable within a 3-hour drive. Temple is home to Baylor Scott and White, one of the largest hospital networks in the area. Temple is also home to the Czechoslovakia museum and the railroad museum.

Small town living is not for the faint of heart. This is what a person will experience if he/she were moving to Temple, Texas. Temple has a small town heart with a larger city population and access to everything you might need. What’s more, Temple is only 60 minutes from the state capital of Austin, Texas.
