Philadelphia is thrilling in many ways. There is a place for everyone, whether it be in music, arts, food, sports, and academia. Although yes, you have to brave the violence that may go around the city, but every city has its own set of issues you cannot ignore. I think Philadelphia has a lot more to offer that outweighs the negativities it possess.

It’s not cheap. Parking is tough. Weather is true to the four seasons, beautiful. Really into food, and sports.

Philadelphia is a wonderful town. Philly is the city of brotherly love and is world-famous for cheesesteaks! When you get to town head to south Philly and check out Pat’s and Geno’s world-famous cheesesteaks. Philadelphia is also Home to some great professional sports teams including the Eagles and Phillies.

Philadelphia is a great city for anyone who enjoys culture, food, and professional sports. The population is diverse and proud of the city they call home. While all residents can agree on which professional sports teams to support, they most certainly do not agree on where to get the tastiest cheesesteak.

The city has a strong historical background, from the place where the Founding Fathers gathered to sign the Constitution to the Liberty Bell. The Philadelphia Museum of Art is the site of the famous Rocky scene where he runs up the steps of the museum. Philadelphia is also known for the Reading Terminal Market, which is a public food market with a wide variety of foods from various cultures. Whether you’re looking for a historical monument, a sports event, concert, or a walk in a park, the city of Philadelphia has it all.

Even though most major cities in the United States have sports teams, Philadelphia’s teams are different from the rest, with a passionate fan base unlike any other team, especially during football season. People of all different cultures rally together to celebrate their favorite home team, the Philadelphia Eagles. In the area, the expression “Go Birds,” is the equivalent of saying “Hi” to someone. When fans enter Lincoln Financial Field on game day, they identify as one team, regardless of their backgrounds.

Philadelphia is a city rich in history and culture. Unfortunately, it has a national reputation as being dirty and unfriendly. We are most often in the news for ridiculous behavior at football or hockey games. In reality, Philadelphians are tough, warm, and genuine. The city itself is full of beautiful parks and vibrant restaurant and music scenes.

Philadelphia is widely known as the City of Brotherly Love, home to the incredible Philadelphia Eagles football team, and nearly 10 million people. Philadelphians are a very proud people. From the South to the greater Northeast, the city’s natives pride themselves on their incredible Center City architecture, infamous sports teams, and world-renowned cheesesteak tourist attractions.

There are many museums and historical places to see in Philadelphia. The Declaration of Independence was signed here! Some use the scenic route along Kelly Drive as a running path. The Art Museum stairs are a popular tourist destination because the popular movie, Rocky, was filmed there. Independence Mall has a museum which contains the Liberty Bell.
