Madurai is my city. This city is also called “Thoonga Nagaram”, as one could find most shops open even during the night. The people of my city never hesitate helping outsiders. We people are also known for our bravery. When there comes an issue, we stand together and fight for the cause.

Madurai is a city which is famous for temple called “Meenakshi Temple”. It’s a city of Jasmine flower and bazaar. People always welcome their neighbours with love and respect. There is many historical places where people love. People love to visit puthu mandapam to buy various things which are very classy and many antique collections are also available. The last but not the least, Madurai is a cit which called “Thoonga Nagaram” (The city never sleeps).

Madurai is popularly called temple city of Tamil Nadu. The city is famous for the most famous iconic temple Sri Meenakshi Amman temple. Here lordess Meenakshi Amman and Swamy Sundareswarar are the main deities. two temples Palamuthircholai and Thiruparankundram which is in the six famous temples of Lord Muruga is in Madurai. Madurai is most famous for its night foods. Shops will be opened over the night inside the city. It’s famous for its Bun parotta and some famous restaurants originated here. It has a famous St. Mary’s church in the east veli street. There is the festival famous celebrated here called chithirai thiruvila after which the famous ceremony of kallazhagar entering Vaigai river. This city is full of positive vibrations. People who ever visits can feel it in a best way.
