If someone were moving to my city, some of the most important aspects that should be known before moving would be the transient demographic, the small-town aesthetic and expensive housing prices. Due to the university that encompasses a large part of the town, the median age of the city is college-student age with most of the population consisting of transient students that has an influx of people during the school year, but remains empty while in not in session. The city is also a relatively small town, so the city is rarely a bustling metropolis or have significant events catering to individuals that aren’t currently students of the university. The demographic of the city’s population and the transitioning population has led to increasingly expensive housing prices and many sections of the town are broken down into college houses that might not fit the individuals looking to settle down or live in a quiet neighborhood.
