The name of my city “Satara” is derived from seven hills surrounding it: Ajinkyatara, Sajjangad, Yawateshwar, Jarandeshwar, Nakdicha Dongar, Kitlicha Dongar, and Pedhyacha Bhairoba. It’s a small city, but is known for its cool and good climate. It is famous for its sweet “Kandi Pedha.” It has famous and well known hill station named “Mahabaleshwar”. It is also famous for Kas Pathar (Valley of flowers), Kas lake.
