Our city is free and liberated, filled with different types of people. There’s a lot of stereotypes you can see here depending on what barangay you visit but most of the people have a lot in common as well. There’s a lot of things you can notice by just walking around. Some are rich some are poor but we live together that’s all I can say. Our city is surrounded by different provinces and if you look at the roadmap there’s four highways that lead to different directions.

Santiago City might not be a tourist spot but it is a first class independent component city in the province of Isabela. It is a progressive city compared to towns nearby in terms of businesses, financial means and agriculture as well. There are 37 barangays in Santiago City. One will not regret living in Barangay Victory Norte where I reside because of peace-loving residents.

Santiago City is known as the Queen City of the North, best known for the Balamban Festival that celebrates beauty and growth. It has many tourist attractions such as one of the tallest murales in Southeast Asia. The breeze of the wind will make make you feel calm as it surrounds trees and mountains for Santiago City makes up Cagayan Valley region.

I’m from Santiago City. It is part of Region 2, Cagayan Valley. Santiago City is north of Luzon. From Manila, the capital of Philippines, you can travel here by bus for eight to nine hours. This city is a modernize city. There is a mall, which is Robinson’s Mall that you can buy anything.

Santiago, Isabela, is a good place. Santiago is an independent city. They chose to be independent because they knew that they can provide for their people. There are many malls. Santiago has a good school for students and many banks.

It is one of the safest city in the country. It has many hotels to check in into. My city is very peaceful and is attracting more tourists yearly. It is an eco-friendly city and participates in contests where recycling garbage materials is needed to make Christmas decorations. It is indeed a exceptional and unique city.

Here in Santiago City, we have different scenic places that you could visit. People here are very generous and humble that could be your friend. This city is known for having different fruits and vegetable fresh from different farms. Also, schools here are amazing when it comes to teaching children.

My city is a trading hub in which most travelers and business owners go to or visit often to buy or trade their items or product. It is also the only Independent Component City of the north. It is a beautiful city inhabited by good people who care about the environment and about each other.

Santiago City has the best places to explore within Cagayan Valley. One of the city’s pride is the Saint James Parish Church. This church serves as the center of the community and is one of the oldest churches in the country.

Living here is nice and simple, you do not dwell with traffic much, you have lots of restaurants choices, malls are just walking distances. People here are great they willing to those in need, always. On its disadvantage we lack tourism, we are away from beaches and some activities which may feel good to and have a reasons for long drives.
