Manila is very crowded and quite polluted. Everyone here is very nice, they’ll talk to you in English if you don’t understand Tagalog. Jeepneys are a good use for transportation, they’re cheap and would take you almost everywhere in the Philippines. The street foods are delicious and safe to eat, you can pay for a big portion for a cheap price.

Manila is densely populated. Aside from a high population density, the city is also polluted. It is also very humid during afternoons. If you wish to live in Manila, be prepared to live with the heavy traffic, overpopulation, and high humidity. Fortunately, the people are approachable and can usually speak in English, so communication won’t be a problem.

In Manila, the capital of the Philippines, where it’s known for its own cities and historical contribution of our own country’s legacy ever since we have been colonized by the Spaniards, then Americans, have fought them and the Japanese, and all its glory gone to waste of a developed city where many stories lies in its grounds. Filipinos known this city to which where all highs and lows are known, no matter what status they are in the city, it became a settlement of anyone who would dare to dream to stand up for oneself.

Manila is a city known for its traffic, pollution, poverty and chaos. A disaster, one might say. But as cliche as this might sound, Manila is a beautiful disaster. The city wakes up by 7am to sell on the streets, the bells of the big Catholic churches start to ring, and everyone starts chasing time. Manila is a city of culture.

Manila is the capital of the Philippines. It is home to thousands of Filipinos residing in different areas. Although Manila has beautiful different places to explore because of its rich history, it also has its downsides as it is one of the polluted areas in the country. Manila has a diverse community as we respect and welcome different races and different cultures.

When coming to Manila, a visitor should be ready for the possible culture shock that will arise, especially when he or she came from countries with disciplined citizenry. The city is populous, so one should consider being able to handle heat and pollution before traveling here. Despite all of these, Manila is actually urbanized and you won’t have a hard time communicating with its people as long as you speak English.

Manila City is the capital of the Philippines. Manila is a crowded place and often polluted. If you’re interested in moving, perhaps you should reconsider the factors that may affect your routine as you continue to do so. Living in this area is complicated.

If you would like to go to our city (Manila) you may consider to adapting traffic here because it can affect your everyday schedule and livelihood. You may also consider the air here because unfortunately our air here is polluted. You also may consider the people here because not every Filipino are honest and trustworthy but that does not reflect every Filipino.

The city that I live in is already overpopulated. Many people want to move here thinking that they get better jobs, but in reality it is even harder to find one here especially since the competition is high. Additionally, because there are lots of people here, the city is really polluted.

Manila is the capital of the Philippines. Hence, it is heavily congested with people. Because of the large population, there is also a greater amount of pollution, compared to rural areas. Despite these issues, the city of Manila allows their residents to have a wide access to institutions, such as education, health, banks, and others. It is a city teeming with life and abundant opportunity.

Life in any city is hard but residing in the capital of the country makes for a mixture of extreme pollution, expensive commodities, and a visual onslaught of poverty on the streets and corruption of the state. This knowledge, tinged with the third-world provincial hopes of moving to a city to pursue greener pastures, wouldn’t be enough to sway anyone. Be vigilant and be kind to yourself if you get lost in the tides of the crowd. As someone who became comfortable in the easy, countryside life, going back to the city always comes with a surge of anxiety that I’ll stay glued to the pavement, with the sky barely of sight from skyscrapers casting shadows upon me. Don’t let the city erase you. You are more than the figure you earn, the place you were born, or the color of your skin—no matter what those flashing screens tell you.

Manila is reclaiming its position as the cultural center of the Philippines thanks to the efforts of Mayor Isko Moreno in cleaning the streets of trash, prohibited vendors, street kids, and crimes; and installing fixtures that remind us of the old glory of the city. Location is perfect for traveling to other major cities in Metro Manila such as Makati, Quezon City, and Mandaluyong, as these can be reached in less than 30 minutes. There are so many colorful districts in Manila where one can enjoy shopping, entertainment, and history.

There is a lot to consider before moving to Manila City. One is the climate and weather. It is advised to bring and wear light fabric and comfortable clothes such as shorts, jeans, short-sleeves to sleeveless tops and more. An umbrella is also advisable to carry around in your daily bag. Manila City is also considered a densely populated and heavily polluted, so make sure to bring handkerchiefs and necessary vitamins to avoid illnesses. Another thing to consider when moving to Manila is apartment or house hunting. The city has detached homes in villages, high-rise condominiums and apartments. Both long term and short term lease agreements are an option and may last up to a year. The language spoken in the Philippines, is both English and Filipino as the mother tongue. Communicating with the Filipinos in Manila shouldn’t be a problem knowing that most of them are fluent in both languages.
