Salvador is the most dangerous and dirtiest city in Brazil. The traffic is very bad and many drivers don’t stop even if the light is red. The locals are super friendly however have poor manners. Aside that, the culture of Salvador is amazing. Barra is a nice beach and Rio Vermelho has a nice nightlife.

HELPFUL REPORT

Alright, here’s the lowdown for all you peeps moving to Salvador, Brazil. When it comes to getting around, the bus system is your go-to. Just be prepared for some crazy traffic, so leave early and don’t stress if you’re running late. And hey, if you’re feeling fancy or need a quick ride, jump on an Uber or 99. They’re all over the place and can save you from the headache of finding parking. Oh, and there’s a metro too, but it’s not as extensive as you might hope. So, get acquainted with these transportation options, and you’ll be cruising through Salvador like a pro!

It is a coastal city with a tropical climate year-round. Many religious and civic celebrations, including one of the most famous street carnivals in the world. The city was founded with the purpose of administering the colony and defending its territory against European invaders. Salvador remained the capital of Brazil until 1759 when the capital was transferred to Rio de Janeiro.
