Miami is very expensive and real estate is very overpriced. The population is more than two-thirds Latino and most of them speak Spanish and refuse to English. Crime rates are very high. Hurricanes are an annual problem and health care is extremely expensive.

Miami has green parrots, Banyan trees, and iguanas. Miami is a place of celebration and life, but Miami is dying. Everything that is unique and special to Miami is being held hostage by the threat of climate change and sea rise. The coral reefs, the city’s first defense against hurricanes and tropical storms, are boiling. Streets filled with music and dancing are now flooded. Miami is still an epicenter of biodiversity and life.
