Houston is known for people that drive extremely fast and discourteously. Houston is a huge city and the fast traffic in Houston is treacherous. If you do move to Houston, be aware, be cautious and always be alert when on the freeways. The freeways have feeder roads next to the freeways that one can drive on if they are not comfortable with the dangerous freeways.

Houston is the second largest city in the United States. There are lots of opportunities for growth for people moving in here. The suburbs are great for families with young children. Cost of living is quite affordable. The school districts are great and ranked among the nation’s best schools. Crime is low overall.

As a Houston resident, you will require a car if you plan to live here, however, there are many forms of transportation like buses and trains that you can take to get around. Although I say this, these forms of transportation are often limited to near the center of Houston, if you wish to travel further out, you will need to call a taxi. Walking is not a very viable option because of the lack of sidewalks in a lot of areas which can be pretty dangerous.

As the most diverse city in the United States, Houston hosts a variety of people from differing backgrounds. That being said, Houstonians can count on each other in the event of an emergency. One need not look further than the response to Hurricane Harvey in 2017 to find examples of Houstonians’ generosity.

Houston is very illustrious and full of opportunity. The job market is booming and provides a unique sense of security. move to an area close to the major freeways such as the Heights. This area is located approximately northwest of downtown. If you keep these things in mind, I am sure your experience will be satisfactory.

The first thing I’d say is that home prices are relatively low. In Houston, jobs are everywhere. And the job market is booming, so there’s plenty of ways to make money. Houston has no zoning laws. The beach isn’t to far away, approximately one hour away.
