Tirana is a lively city. You can find cafes, restaurants at every corner. The people are kind and helpful. However, it is necessary to have a map of all the streets as it can be sometimes confusing for newcomers. you should be prepared for hot summers days and cold winter nights, so pack while keeping that in mind!

If you want to visit Tirana, you should be prepared for a fun walk-around-the-city type of visit. There are historical museums to visit, art galleries, the artificial lake and its beautiful forest, interesting bar cafes and lots of friendly people. The weather is quite nice here as well in all four seasons so, enjoying the view will be easy.

Tirana is a city full of life. The everyday life is cheap, you can find great food in a nice restaurant for five euros. Also, there is a large amount of cafeterias -some of them with a nice view- that will offer good coffee and pretty much anything you like (yes, also wine and beer). Although mobility is quite easy in the public transport, during rush hours you might find traffic in the main roads, but nothing more than a 15 minute delay. There is a lake just 15 minute walking from the centre where you can have a coffee, a snack, take a walk, make some exercise early in the morning or simply sit on the benches and enjoy the view.

Tirana is the capital of Albania. Tirana is a noisy city, with nightclubs. Tirana is one of the liveliest towns in the Balkan Peninsula. The city’s nightlife scene is mainly focused in the Blloku district, the former restricted area that used to be closed to most people during the communist era. Tirana has many opportunities for activities. There are many bars. People are friendly. Tirana is a foodie’s paradise; the town has plenty of restaurants that offer unforgettable meals for just a few euros. Tirana has its own pyramid.
