Anyone moving to my beloved home city of Porto would probably start with investigating the cost of renting an apartment or house. It would probably be advisable to investigate the overall cost of living in Porto. For example, supermarket prices, transport prices, school fees, and cost of an average meal at a restaurant and prices of furniture and clothing.

There should be three things someone moving to Porto should focus on to get the most out of the city. One: Coffee culture is a thing. The coffee shop is a place you can meet new people, drink coffee, work, you will spend hours there! Two: The Porto football club (FCP) is the best and you should not root for Benfica (SLB), the Lisbon team. Three: Try the “francesinha”, a very meaty sandwich, that you will simply love! Have fun getting acquainted with the streets and people of Porto!

The people from here are very good and they always can help you if you’re in a situation that you need some help. My city has the best restaurants and the best wine in Europe by far. I recommend the closest to the river to you can see daily the beautiful sunsets.
