To sniff in an aura of ancient life and to breathe with it is why one can choose moving into Madurai. Infamous for its culinary, Madurai will stay fresh in a traveler/wanderer/tourist’s memory like so many other cities they may have come across intentionally and by pull factors – and it is all definitely not just the culinary. There is a sense of casual life, a normalcy to break into, a careful line between an urban and rural life, and undeniably, a sense of pride a person in the city would show to anyone. To live or to see through or to wander, and more importantly, to love, Madurai is sure a fit.
