Our city is a good city where people are always industrious.They are always hard-working.There are many temples in our city as well as many tourist spots and historical places are there.I feel proud to be in this city.I will keep our city clean so that any diseases could not be spread in our city.

Madurai is a land of temples, in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The world-famous Meenakshi Amman temple is in Madurai. Madurai people are known for their caring nature and their beautiful accent. Madurai is famous for its jasmine flowers and a unique drink called Jigarthanda. The city never sleeps. The city has a rich heritage that attracts tourists.

Madurai has lots and lots of temples which glances viewers eyesights. The food sold on the roadsides are really delicious, one should try cityside food at least once in a lifetime. More over people in the city tend to be more friendly, compared to other cities.

Madurai is in south India. It is on of the oldest and temple city. There was many temples, palace and tourist spots are there. It is also a unsleeping city. In the time of day and night city buses are rome here and there. In summer time so many foreigner are visiting in this city.

Madurai has a lot of historic places to visit apart from the many temples rich in history. In Meenakshi Amman temple there is a statue that depicts the hole in the Ozone! There are many falls around Madurai.

Madurai is popularly called temple city of Tamil Nadu. The city is famous for the most famous iconic temple Sri Meenakshi Amman temple. Here lordess Meenakshi Amman and Swamy Sundareswarar are the main deities. two temples Palamuthircholai and Thiruparankundram which is in the six famous temples of Lord Muruga is in Madurai. Madurai is most famous for its night foods. Shops will be opened over the night inside the city. It’s famous for its Bun parotta and some famous restaurants originated here. It has a famous St. Mary’s church in the east veli street. There is the festival famous celebrated here called chithirai thiruvila after which the famous ceremony of kallazhagar entering Vaigai river. This city is full of positive vibrations. People who ever visits can feel it in a best way.

Our city is temple city. There many temples and all there especially Hindu temples. There Meenakshi temple is very special that is in city center. Madurai is very old and historical place.
