Kollam is one of the beautiful districts in Kerala state. Kollam is famous for its backwaters and tourist destinations. We can see some pilgrim centres and ancient temples in kollam. My district also has a larger coastal area. Thirumullavaram beach, Azheekal beach, Kollam beach are our nearest beaches. Thankasseri, a place of high significance, houses several old churches said to have been established in the 1700s.
