Mumbai is a great place for all age groups. It has very good schools and colleges for young couples with children and world class hospitals for the elderly population. While the city accommodates all economic strata it is partial to people with money. It is a very safe city with many options for weekend getaways.

Very nice city. Though it has become a bit run down now due to negligence by the authorities in providing good roads and infra. People are very good. Very busy city and has a fast pace. Weather is mostly warm 8 months in a year. Monsoons are very heavy. Very crowded.

The city is very populous which makes it look loud, crowded, and chaotic. It takes time to get used to the fast pace. But once you get to used to all the chaos, it starts feeling comfortable. It is refreshing; Mumbai has so many moods. But once she embraces you, you’ll never want to leave her.

While moving to a city like Mumbai, the person should consider somethings like the area where the person is going to live in; What are the transportation facilities, is there a grocery store nearby? How much is the rent of the apartment the person would be living in? Whether the person is gonna be happy after moving in the city.

Mumbai is a city of more than 20 million people living in, under, and on top of buildings, slum dwellings, tarpaulin tents, temples, bridges and in one case, a burial ground. The city is one of the world’s most crowded, and has some of the world’s most expensive real estate. Each spot of free space is to be seized and defended. Most times, you will simply find yourself thrust along a pedestrian wave.

The super rich live far from the lower income strata in the city, and that is what makes it an ambitious city of dreams. Everyone can be someone here.

Street food is delicious only when the street is in the food. Mumbai is essentially a culmination of khao gallis—food-lined “treat streets”—heaving with traffic, commotion, vexations, and delays.

Mumbai is a city that can become a home to anyone, provided you are ready to accept its rules. Always be alert. Always be ready to hustle. Always be ready for newer experiences. And don’t let the adversities knock you down. Mumbai is also a city of contradictions, with skyscrapers on one side and sprawling slums on the other. And perhaps, that is the beauty of this city. In its own unique way, it has space for all.

Minhajul, says: 2020

If moving to Mumbai, please make sure that you are comfortable with crowds. Most of the public transport is crowded with little consideration for personal space. People are friendly but rarely do they display restraint when it comes to invading your personal space. You also might want to stock up on your medicines. The food here is delectable but it might not agree with everyone.

It’s a wonderful city with friendly and helpful people. It is extremely safe and once can travel easily even late in the night. Food, transport, connectivity is not a problem at all. In short it is a “city of dreams” Mumbai is expensive compared to other cities in India, however it does offer the convenience and flexibility that people can experience only once they come to Mumbai. Probably that’s one reason why people who come here never want to go back.
