London is a wonderful place to live. The culture and diversity here is like nothing else in the world. The city is so vast that whether you choose to live South, East, North or West you will have a different culture and so many different things to do.

London is a much busier city and has so much more going on here in terms of clubs and meetings, etc. London also has a higher level of pollution which the mayor is working to reduce. London is a great city.

As a global centre of historical significance, architectural beauty and thriving cultures, the number of choices for recreation and exploration is large and ever-expanding. However, be prepared to stomach the large (and rising) costs of living in the capital. Though offering quicker and easier access to the city’s delights, living in the centre can be an expensive and spatially-limiting choice. On the other hand, leaving Zone one will fetch you lower house and rent prices, but will limit your travel options increasingly the further you tread.

Someone moving to London should know it is full of hidden gems: restaurants, pubs, bars and beautiful parks. You just need to make the effort to find them; preferably by using the underground. I recommend dining in Chelsea, drinking is Soho and exploring Hampstead Heath.

My city is significantly larger than people assume. It can take 2-3 hours to travel from one side to another by public transport. Once that barrier has been crossed, and you have recovered from the initial culture shock, you will have an incredible time living among modern shops, stunning monuments and countless museums and buildings standing as a testament to both the past and future of the U. K. as a whole.

Be ready to take a lot of public transport. Very stressful mornings in the Tube are to be expected with a lot of people crowding the stations. London is a very multicultural city, so you will get to meet a lot of different people and interact with a lot of different cultures. There is a lot to explore, as London is a very big and developed city.

You will meet people from all over the world not just people who were born in the UK and will get to eat food from various cultures you haven’t tried before.
