Flower Mound is a great place to visit or consider moving to if you are a fan of nature. As soon as you enter the city limits, you are instantly greeted with a sign that touts “Tree City” as one of its many accolades. Though most surrounding suburbs in the DFW area boast nature and the outdoors to entice visitors, for the most part you’ll end up with newly planted trees in recent developments. In Flower Mound, the “Tree City” label stands tall and true, not unlike the numerous shade trees that are here.

Flower Mound is a small city nestled 25 miles from the big city of Dallas, Texas. Being a small town, it is fast growing for the last five years. This city is a great place especially raising children. There are several schools around, too, that are rated five stars.
