moving here, Plaridel, is a very good thing. You must consider the people here, and our cuisine and special dessert, pastillas. Also, you must visit our famous historical church, the Plaridel Church or also known as “Parokya ni Santiago”. I would also like to recommend in considering the famous site here in Agnaya.

For someone moving to Plaridel, one must know about the churches that stood through time and are still visited by 100s of locals on Sundays. One must also visit rural cities to appreciate the reflection of the blue sky on the lake, while a seemingly endless rice field across it blows with the gentle wind. one must have a smile on their face as they walk around the streets, for the people they see will be a part of their new family in Plaridel.

The St. James Parish is an old church here dating back from the Spanish colonial period. Also, the “Horse Festival” is famous in our place. Every tourist should experience this colorful and fun festival. It is celebrated every December in honor of the patron Saint James the Apostle.
