Boston is a city full of rich history and buzzing with life, although a new resident should be prepared to bundle up for bitter winters. During January through March, Bostonians hunker down in their old apartments and stock up on shovels and cones to defend their parking spot. Come May, flowers begin to bloom and life resumes with a renewed, thrilling energy.

If you’re moving to Brighton, or majorly Boston as a whole, know the area is not very friendly to cars. All major neighborhoods of Boston (e.g., Allston-Brighton, South Boston, Back Bay, Fenway/Kenmore, etc.) offer limited parking, most of which require resident-only permits and most likely the need to parallel park! Also, because Boston is a major city, there is almost always traffic/congestion wherever you go. Public transportation is the way to go!
