Panama City Beach is known for having some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. As such, the tourism industry makes up a large portion of the local economy. Traffic can be rather irritating during peak travel periods, such as mid-Spring and the majority of Summer. However, there is the added benefit of large amounts of diverse people from all over the country coming and going almost constantly, providing a great opportunity to meet new people. Someone moving here should weigh the pros and cons of such a fluid population before making a final decision.
