When moving to North Augusta, one must be aware of the local political beliefs. A person with liberal beliefs will not feel accepted. The younger population leans more Democratic in elections, but the general populous is considerably Republican. There is a shortage of activities that young adults or teenagers find entertaining, despite being nearby Augusta University.

North Augusta is a quaint city with a small-town feel. It is on the banks of the Savannah River, right on the border between South Carolina and Georgia. Due to its location, the population can enjoy the local restaurants of North Augusta’s downtown, and the vibrant downtown of Augusta, Georgia.
