Norco got its name as being short for “North Corona.” With a population of less than 30,000, the close-knit community prides itself off of our “hometown feel” and western aesthetic. Norco’s town fair is a time the town comes together and celebrates community and its animals. Norco is invested in respecting and celebrating those in the military. A large memorial dedicated to the men and women from the town who have served resides in the heart of the city, along with the naval warfare center.

Norco is not well known. Many people in Southern California have never even heard of it. However, this small corner of the world is unique. Norco is in Riverside County, better known as part of the Inland Empire (I.E.) in Southern California. Norco is nicknamed “Horse Town USA” because there are more horses (or animals in general) than people. There are no sidewalks; there are horse trails, and entire weeks are dedicated horses. It is normal to see people pick up food from drive-throughs on their horses.
