What are nightlife and clubbing like in Norwich, England?

If moving to Norwich be aware that it is a very fine city. The local people are both welcoming and friendly. There are as many pubs as there are churches, so plenty of culture is to be found in the vicinity. One should also be aware that once one moves to Norwich it is awfully difficult to leave.

Norwich is a beautiful historic city in the East of England with a vibrant social scene. There are numerous pubs and restaurants to suit any taste. The city is also only a two-hour drive from London and a starting point for cruises on the world-famous Norfolk Broads. It is also popular with international students thanks to the University of East Anglia in picturesque surroundings.

Norwich is a historic city, in the eastern county of Norfolk. There are two cathedrals here – which is rare for any city – although one is much more famous and more frequently visited than the other. The compact centre of the city contains the oldest covered market in the country, and a fine castle, two shopping malls and many other, local, shops. At one time, although many have now been closed or converted, there were 52 churches (one for every Sunday) and 365 pubs (for daily of the year!). A number of famous people have lived in or around Norwich, including the wonderfully intelligent and humorous Stephen Fry, and the famous chef and restaurateur Delia Smith. The fantastic, long, wide, sandy beaches of Norfolk are all very accessible, as are many historic properties – including the Sandringham Estate where the Queen and her family often reside. Whilst transport to the north of England is a little cumbersome, there is good and easy transport by road and rail to London, and Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports.

Norwich is a fine city, with a beautiful cathedral. It has many nice restaurants and bars for dining out either during the day time or the evening, most with outdoor space. There are also numerous parks and open green spaces to sit and enjoy a picnic or simply to walk in.

Everyone moving to Norwich should know the sheer number of pubs and bars that line our streets. Some say that there is a pub for every day of the year here. I don’t think they’re wrong.
