If you are moving to Miami, one thing you need to know is that Miami is paradise! The sun, turquoise ocean, Cuban food, eclectic restaurant scene, and don’t even get me started about the yacht parties! We also have a great deal of humidity, high cost of living, flooding, and occasional hurricanes. Besides hurricanes and humidity, Miami is the perfect place to call home.

Miami is a city in Florida covering about 56 square miles. Well-known for its beaches, art deco, street art, and nightlife, Miami a beautiful site. When you visit, check out the Vizcaya Museum, shop or grab a bite to eat at Bayfront Park, take pictures in Wynwood Walls, and explore the nightlife down Ocean Drive.

The essence of Miami should not be solely defined by its beaches and nightlife. The city fits all definitions of ‘diverse’ with its various cultures and customs. Despite the influence that the Hispanic community has on the city, the remaining conventions from all kinds of people do not go unnoticed.

Miami is a gorgeous city, and the weather is ideal. However, the cost of living is considerable, so you want to procure steady employment before moving here. As a general rule, the further west you live, the cheaper your rent (or mortgage) will be. Entertainment here is top-notch: the restaurants, nightlife, and culture are second-to-none.

Miami is a fantastic city. Beautiful beaches, fantastic food, rich history, and a lively nightlife are just a few reasons we love it here. Having two small boys we are never at a loss for things to do. The museums are amazing and kid friendly being a resident in Miami gives us free access to these gems and we frequent them often.

Miami has green parrots, Banyan trees, and iguanas. Miami is a place of celebration and life, but Miami is dying. Everything that is unique and special to Miami is being held hostage by the threat of climate change and sea rise. The coral reefs, the city’s first defense against hurricanes and tropical storms, are boiling. Streets filled with music and dancing are now flooded. Miami is still an epicenter of biodiversity and life.

Miami is known mostly for its beaches. There is not a lot do here if you aren’t someone who likes to go to parties or the beach. Traffic is horrendous and the people can be rude and impatient at times. Miami is beautiful, though, and there is always something going on throughout the city.

While predominantly Hispanic, there are multitudes of people who contribute to our expanding society and add to its diversity. Someone moving to Miami would know about the beaches. Miami is really hot and bipolar. The amusement parks, tourist attractions. It rains a lot during summer time. The parties doesn’t start until late at night. The public transportation is kind of tricky. And that just because the sun is down it doesn’t mean that its cooler.
