Muzaffarpur is well connected with other cities through railway network and transportation facilities. We can enjoy all kinds of seasonal fruits here, especially our city is world famous for Shahi lichies and quality mangoes.

If you are moving to Muzaffarpur, do not experiment with cheap hotels on your first visit. You can find almost everything around city centers at a walking distance, so do not opt for an auto as they charge more, unless necessary. The traffic is bad in the morning and afternoon, especially during school times. People do not have “to-let” boards, so keep asking general stores for help. You can find a good house anywhere between 3-5k, but they are mostly unfurnished or semi-furnished at the maximum. Trust Amazon in your beginning days unless you are a great haggler, which has its odds. Street food here is better than restaurants. The city is active until 11-12pm, but it will not be safe after that. Be careful of pickpockets in public, and autos or e-rickshaws are the best public transport. It is easily navigable with two-wheelers; four-wheelers tend to get stuck in traffic. Definitely try Shahi Litchi, it’s the best, and mangoes too.

One of the most famous thing in my city is litchi (a fruit), its taste is unremarkable. Another commodity you can find is bangle and many clothes shops and showrooms. One famous clothes shop is Khadi bhandar. The Khadi gives us a glance of the non – cooperation movement led by Gandhi.
