Museums and Cultural Institutions in Hopkinsville, Kentucky

Hopkinsville is a growing city located 15 miles north of Fort Campbell. Its close proximity to the Army base allows it a constant flow of soldiers looking for a close get-away from post without having to travel over an hour to Nashville, the largest and closest big city. Hopkinsville has a rich history, having three different museums: one for the city itself, one for Fort Campbell, and one for the Trail of Tears, which passes through the city. The city hosts numerous events through the year like its biggest event, the annual Summer Salute: a three-day festival in downtown that ends with a concert outside the county courthouse.
