Angono Rizal might be a small town but it has a rich and creative culture. It is known as the Art Capital of the Philippines. Some of our famous painters and artists were born from this place. Our town celebrates Higantes festival where people make way to giant sculptures for a parade. A very colorful and amazing scenario every 23rd of November. No wonder a lot tourists come to our town just to see such event. This town is also very peaceful.

Our town is also well known for a popular dish which is called “Fried Itik”. It is a deep-fried native duck, which is grown and bred in our town.

For those who wants to move to my city, they must know that Angono Rizal was known to be the Philippines’ Art Capital. Many artists were also born in that city. They can enjoy themselves by looking at some museums right there. There are also some carvings along the walls of the streets.

Consider visiting Angono, Rizal, Philippines, if you’re into arts. Our museums showcase our artists’ talent. We also have the famous Angono Petroglyphs which consists of human and animal figures engraved in a rock wall carved during the late Neolithic era. The culture that we have is very rich.

I highly recommend that you prepare yourself for the so-called “Higantes Festival” which is famous for its towering artworks such as giant papier mache statues that were handcrafted by the local artisans hence the title of “The Art Capital of the Philippines” being a well-known fact which made the city as another popular tourist destination.
