Meyerton is run by the DA party who has the only municipality in Gauteng with a clean audit. It’s a small town but close enough to amenities. People are friendly.

If anyone would be tempted to move to my city, they would find that the people here are incredibly friendly. They love helping each other and giving their support. These people thrive on hard work and determination. The people of our city love a good braai and you can find that the atmosphere is very welcoming around them.

Meyerton is a fairly quiet and small town. The locals are friendly and it is full of green scenery. There is a vast variety of living spaces, one can choose to stay on a farm, a plot, a house, a cottage or an apartment. It is much safer in comparison to our neighbouring town Johannesburg.

The crime rate in this area is fairly low in comparison to other surrounding areas. In addition, there is tranquility here. Meyerton is also very animal-friendly. I would advise anyone considering to move here to expect peace and quiet all year round. It is a great place to be!

Meyerton is specifically known for its historical sites and rich culture. You must know at least two of the languages spoken in my town. Prepare yourself for an amazing experience in a town where everyone knows everyone.
