Loughborough is a quaint British town situated 12 miles outside of Leicester. It hosts the University which is home to many Olympians, as a sporting institution, including Sir Sebastian Coe. In the Spring it’s suburbs are lined with Apple blossoms. The river soar runs through its centre. The town has a post office, a few supermarkets. A cinema, nightclubs and many restaurants contribute to it’s nightlife.

Loughborough was at the for forefront of the industrial revolution which took place in the early 1800s. Since then Loughborough experience vast increases in household wealth due to its location, being at the centre of coal transportation, that was the main energy source of locomotives, trains and other machines.

Loughborough is fairly small compared to surrounding cities like Leicester and Nottingham. There is a small town next to the universities which includes stores like Tesco’s, Wilko’s, and many other smaller stores and restaurants.
