Lithonia, the city I reside in, is not considered to be Atlanta. It is on the outskirts of Atlanta. For those looking for a city that is within close proximity to Atlanta, but a short distance away, they should consider moving to Lithonia. This city is best for those starting a family or for senior citizens. However, it is not recommended for the adventure-seeking individual who may thrive best in the city.

In Lithonia, GA, there is a high school named Lithonia High School. At Lithonia High School, there are are many extracurricular activities for students to engage in. There are sports teams, an orchestra, foreign language clubs, and technology clubs. I recommend your student tries out the Technology Student Association, or TSA for short.

Anyone moving to Lithonia, Atlanta, or the Atlanta metropolitan area, should first know how and where they can purchase a MARTA pass. They should also also familiarize themselves with the city and its general surroundings. Not only are there clear class differences that range across the state, the city contains vastly disproportionate economic environments. Southeast of the city however, these factors are less emphasized.

There are a lot of people and good communities here. The grocery stores are good and we even have some unique corner stores. Grocery shopping is sometimes difficult because of the mass amount of people, so be prepared for that. If you have children, the schools are great and always offer after school learning sessions and always strive to help the student.

There is great variety in the city of Lithonia where I live: from malls, parks, along with many other different kinds of recreational facilities. Regarding the weather, it’s often mild in temperature but usually, in most cases it will represent in degrees its respected season. Concerning the neighborhood, the majority of occupants are reserved minding their own business. Rarely you see someone meeting someone else in the streets unless they’ve known that specific individual for a lengthy period of time, often years.
